It took a while, but American station wagons from the sixties and seventies are finally getting the respect they've deserved all along. Lots of interior space, powerful V8 engines and groovy styling makes these wagons much more fun than they were ever intended to be. The Vista Cruiser, with bold Oldsmobile styling and all those windows gracing the long contours of the roof, is without doubt the top dog in the world of vintage station wagons. This 1966 example features a nice custom maroon over white paint scheme with Oldsmobile rally wheels and original cloth seat interior. Power comes from a 330 cid V8 with an automatic transmission. This wagon is even equipped with dual exhaust so it has a nice rumble. If you'd rather listen to music, just turn on the AM/FM/Cassette stereo and crank it up.
